Great build. Is the cockpit locker build scratch or does it come with any aftermarket parts? Thanks for info

Cheers

Kai

No, it's from Aires. I made only a mechanism with a cabin cover spring.

Thank you.

Terrific build my friend. I really like the camouflage scheme you utilized. I’m currently building a Revel / Hasegawa Bf109 trop. I haven’t reached the point of painting yet so I was wondering exactly which RLM colors you used?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

thank you for the feedback. I used these colors:

Fuselage and wings -  Light blue-RLM 76, Gunze C117   Grey-RLM 75, Gunze C37    Green-RLM 83, Gunze C123

Tail - Brown-RLM 81, Gunze 121+41(60%+40%)   Green-RLM83, Gunze C123

Rudder - Light blue-RLM 76, Gunze C117,    Grey-RLM 75, Gunze C37     Green-RLM 83, Gunze C123

Good Luck Jim.

Wow... what a great build. I'm really liking that camoflage paintwork you did, very interesting.

I've got a Me109 question that I can't seem to find the answer to, what is that long device protruding from the bottom of the left wing I see on many of these planes?

Or is a secret and we're not supposed to ask? :)

Hi my frend,

it is an antenna of the FuG 17 radio station. Something like a transponder for germany...

Thankyou for your feedback.
