I don't know if you've ever had the opportunity to get close to one, but it's an impressive sight.

I'm really not into jets past WWII, however I did see one of these beasts up close and personal while working in India last year.  This pointy blowtorch looking thing is rather impressive in size when you get up close to it.

Well, they re-tooled their MiG-29 to create the earlier version, and did a much better job of it! The two earlier, simpler, MiG’s would be a much easier job.
