LSP_K2
This is the worst of the lot, as regards the onboard tools. This is the shovel that mounts to the forward hull, and just looks really, really wrong. Gazzas
Gazzas
That shovel looks more like a snow or coal shovel. Not a dedicated digging tool. LSP_K2

Yea, I think the shape is all wrong, even though this is, generally, the style of shovel mounted there. 17 hours ago, panzerrob said: Hi guys, Here are few links for updating the Hobby Boss Tiger 1: http://www.aber.net.pl/detal,1175.html (basic set) http://www.aber.net.pl/detal,1181.html (rear fenders) https://www.axels-modellbau-shop.de/katalog/en/schumo-kits-ti0028wm-upgradeset-tiger-i-mid-production-for-hobby-boss-82601-1-16.html These 2 items are currently unavailable, but probably can be found elsewhere: https://www.axels-modellbau-shop.de/katalog/en/atak-model-16a07-mg-with-canvas-cover-for-1-16-tiger-i-hobby-boss-82601-1-16.html https://www.axels-modellbau-shop.de/katalog/en/atak-model-16a08-muzzle-brake-canvas-cover-for-1-16-tiger-i-hobby-boss-82601-1-16.html With regards, Rob Thanks for the links. Some of the Aber stuff is still readily available, while other items might take a bit of chasing. 12 hours ago, LSP_Ray said: The Tiger I carried a square point shovel on the glacis plate; I have no idea why. Yep, it certainly did, but again, this shovel, which is intended to be used in that location, just looks wrong. I'll eventually do a side-by-side to see how far out of whack it actually is and if it can be used at all.
LSP_K2
Cupola, again, looks quite OK, but is also missing any manner of casting marks, and more importantly, the very prominent weld beads around each periscope guard. There will also be no weld beads when MG ring is installed, so those will also need to be added.
LSP_K2
The jack looks a bit odd to me, but once assembled, may offer a better overall appearance.
LSP_K2
Rather oddly, the ring mounted MG34, is split down the vertical, creating two halves. In all probability I'll be leaving it off anyway, so no real big deal here, at least for me.
LSP_K2
This piece is also known to be incorrect, presenting more of a facsimile than an actual representation. Easily doctored up though, so that's a plus.

LSP_Ron
I just picked up this kit Kev, I think I have you beat! I've actually seen this in the flesh and thought it was real for most of my visit until I did some reading. LSP_K2
