I tend to disagree.

The only thing above the wings is the canopy.

But it's just a remark.Doesn't  matter that much.

I haven't even got the Revell kit yet .

Soon it will be time to start thinking about next year’s GBs.  Putting in my suggestion now for a P-51 Mustang GB.  Inspired by the new Eduard P-51B/C, but any P-51 kit and version would be eligible, including the A-36A Invader, F-82 Twin Mustang, Cavalier Mustangs, air racers, etc.

Sounds good to me.

We had the Spitfire and Me 109 special GB's.

Only logical to do the most iconic US plane too.

* Tempest

* Thunder(bolt)

* Lightning

* Whirlwind

* Tornado

* etc...

 

This would be suitable for any era as there are  kits of modern jets and WW-2.

Helicopters,WW-1  ?

Most modern  jets and some props have them.Lots of kits  about.

But also a number of WW-2 planes I know (could be more ?):

HI Guys, sorry the Winging It GB will be running soon. I've unfortunately had dad in hospital all week and well he may not make it home due to complications from broken hip surgery. I may be a little slack too in my GB duties for the foreseeable future.
