BradG Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 (edited) Currently Running; March 1st to August 31st - Above the Water - Any aircraft who's main mission would be conducted over water. Coastal Command, convoy attack, carrier aircraft, fleet defence etc. June 1st to November 30th - LSP Zoo - Any aircraft named after an animal. Swordfish, Tomcat, Mosquito...you get the idea. Future Group Builds; September 1st 2026 - February 28th 2026 - Winging It - Anything but a single straight low or mid winged conventional aircraft. So this includes bent wings, swept wings, deta wings and high wings.I have put a few together here as I thought that several might not have enough interest to support a GB alone, but gives those who are into them a chance to participate. Edited June 4 by BradG Updated to the current status. mozart, Daniel Leduc, 2996 Victor and 18 others 18 3
mozart Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Cheers Brad. Glad to see Air Superiority is first, and soon! Been dying to build a fighter and I’ve got several attractive options from the 1930s. Lothar and Rick Griewski 2
LSP_Kevin Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 We should probably enter these into the LSP Calendar proper. Kev mozart 1
DonH Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Yay, I might actually have some things in the stash that I can use for one or two GBs.
Dave Williams Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Are the Target for Today dates right? I thought GBs were 3 months apart. The May 1 start date puts it only 2 months after In the Navy, but 4 months before Blue Box. Seems like a June 1 start date would make more sense.

I think you are right, it should start in June, not May, and last to Novermber 30th. Only in that schedule are all groups 6 months long + start evenly spread out over the year
BradG Posted October 25, 2020 Author Posted October 25, 2020 Corrected the dates, thanks for that....I swear I was once really good at counting!! Pete Roberts, Rick Griewski and Daniel Leduc 3

Neo Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 That looks like a nice line up. I kinda feel in the navy and air superiority are somewhat close in topic. Maybe a change of order would be good? Cheers

Dpgsbody55 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 I've got a number of kits to choose from for both the Air Superiority and In The Navy GB's. Hopefully I'm finished with my P-40B build by then. Cheers, Michael

I confess, I have two Revell Hawker Hunters, possible for ground attack or Blue box. Tamiya Mosquito, again for ground attack? HKM Mosquito, possibly for ground attack. The chances of me starting even one of these is low, and the chances of finishing one is even lower, but I live in hope. Alain Gadbois, mozart and Rick Griewski 3
Dennis7423 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 I'm looking forward to these! Here's what I am thinking, and ultimately, I'll be happy if I finish one of them :-p Air Superiority: ICM Gloster Gladiator Mk.II In the Navy: Trumpeter F-8J Crusader Target for Today: Hobby Boss F-84G Blue Box: Revell P-51D-5 - Dennis S.
