Recommended Posts

Currently Running;

Operation Overlord - December 1st 2023 - June 6th 2024.

Any aircraft that fought over Northern France from June 6th to August 30th 1944. Aircraft must be depicted as it was during this time frame.

Imagination Land - March 1st to August 31st 2024

A 'what if' group build. Weird modifications, Luftwaffe '46, sci fi, Macross/Robotech included. Let your imagination free as long as it's an LSP.

Future Group Builds;

VTOL - June 1st to November 30th 2024

Any aircraft that can take off vertically. Helicopters included.

Snakes on A Plane - September 1st 2024 to February 28th 2025.

Any aircraft carrying Sidewinder, Python or Adder air to air missiles. AA-2 Atoll is also acceptable as it was a direct copy of the Aim-9B Sidewinder.

Are the Target for Today dates right?  I thought GBs were 3 months apart.  The May 1 start date puts it only 2 months after In the Navy, but 4 months before Blue Box.  Seems like a June 1 start date would make more sense.

I think you are right, it should start in June, not May, and last to Novermber 30th.  Only in that schedule are all groups 6 months long + start evenly spread out over the year

That looks like a nice line up.

I kinda feel in the navy and air superiority are somewhat close in topic. Maybe a change of order would be good?

Cheers

Could be but I plan to build US Air Force and then a French Navy Dewoitine D.500.  Generations apart.  :rolleyes:

I wouldn't  worry about a little cross over.

OK fess up what are you thinking?

I confess, I have two Revell Hawker Hunters, possible for ground attack or Blue box.

Tamiya Mosquito, again for ground attack?

HKM Mosquito, possibly for ground attack.

The chances of me starting even one of these is low, and the chances of finishing one is even lower, but I live in hope.

I'm looking forward to these! Here's what I am thinking, and ultimately, I'll be happy if I finish one of them :-p

In the Navy: Trumpeter F-8J Crusader

Target for Today: Hobby Boss F-84G
