Kagemusha
That came out really well, great to see a familiar aircraft in unfamiliar markings. Tolga ULGUR and Jack 1

Dpgsbody55
Interesting. I like the mixture of camouflages. I assume the original plane was a "bitsa"?? Cheers, Michael

Turkey was received 72 Fw 190Aa3 and the first flight was made on July 1943. They remained in service until the end of 1947. The Turkish Aa3 armaments was: 2 units 20mm cannons and 2 units 7.9nmm MG17. Also there was no FuG 25 IFF device in the radio equipment. We can say that Turkey is the only country that used Fw 190Aa3 and Spitfire Mk.V together in the same squadron Out2gtcha and Kais

Cheers, Michael Enormous efforts were devoted in order to keep these aircrafts operational. Some 190s were painted in RAF colours due to stock availability during their service period. And this aircraft had a tail from another one in RAF colors. And also note that the cowling colors are different, probably from another 190 with different colors like RLM 71/02/65. Here is the original picture of number "37" after a crash landing. Kais and Isar 30/07

Yes interesting but this is the fact. On the other hand it should not ignore Germany s efforts to bring Turkey to its side during these years.
