LSP_Ron
Here we use that line for Saskatchewan, some of us also call it and Manitoba "The Great Gap". Its the gap of nothing between Alberta and Ontario And before all 100 people that live there get mad at me, I was borne in Saskaberia too. Out2gtcha
My buddy is a die hard Texas Tech fan, and he used to regularly tell me, "I'll be back, I'm gonna head out and stand on a tuna can to see if the wife is coming home" Basta, nmayhew, MikeC and 1 other 1
LSP_K2
Same with Kansas, flat as a pancake, at least in certain areas. scvrobeson and MikeC
Finn
How about so flat that you can see the curvature of the Earth. Jari LSP_Matt

Oh ya!? well, we here in Saskatchewan say it’s so windy here because Manitoba sucks and Alberta blows Michael931080, RadBaron, Out2gtcha and 3 others 1
LSP_Ron
Good one!, that's one I've never heard before, even from all the family in Regina. chrish
scvrobeson
Lubbock makes rural California look like a glistening metropolis. But yeah, Kansas is way flatter. Place where I stayed once there was the tallest building in three counties. And it was a high school gym. Matt LSP_K2

So yeah, no. Thanks. Don't need any more West Texas in my life. It does that here too. But between November and April and it’s snow. We call them finger drifts, they can put you in the ditch and ruin your day really quick.
fastterry
Obviously none of you guys have stood in the middle of the Nullabor, home to the longest, straightest stretch of railway line in the world. Beat that Texas. D.B. Andrus, LSP_Matt, MikeC and 1 other 3

Tnarg
My college housemate came from Oklahoma, but we were in Utah at the time. He had a brown paper bag colored poster, think of a grocery bag texture and color. It had a thin black line across the bottom, about 1 inch up, representing the horizon. There was a very small drawing of an oil well at one side, maybe 1 inch tall, on a 2.5 to 3 foot tall poster. At the top were letters in bold black type, "SKI OKLAHOMA". Bit of a contrast to the terrain nearby. Tnarg Out2gtcha and LSP_K2

Cheetah11
Flattest area in my part of the world is in Southern Angola. Two spot heights on the map with 1 meter difference in height and they are 40 nm apart. LSP_Matt and mpk
