Jack Posted October 7, 2020 Share Posted October 7, 2020 (edited) Hi, are you sure it's the FIRST F117 displayed in a museum, if memory serves i saw one a couple of years ago in the Air Force museum at Dayton? To answer my own question: i noticed in the text it says the first privately owned museum having this 117, so yes that would be a fact..... Dave Williams Posted October 7, 2020 Share Posted October 7, 2020 The USAF Museum F-117 was the second production aircraft and used just for systems testing. It has a different cockpit than other F-117s. Thinking the current one going to the museum may be the first operational F-117 going to a museum.
