LSP_K2
What, specifically, is the deal with Profipack boxings of Eduard kits? Are they just loaded with AM stuff or what? Asking for a friend. Thanks,
ziggyfoos
yes "normal" kit with additional Eduard stuff in the box (usually masks, PE, resin, and extra/different decal options) LSP_K2
ziggyfoos
Eduard's site actually describes each of their various boxing names (Profipack, Limited Edition, Weekend, Royal Class): https://www.eduard.com/company/ LSP_K2

Gazzas
Now... what does overtrees mean? I've seen a few WFI saying they had overtrees kits.

Just the runners (sprues) of the kit. No instructions (I don't think) or anything else. Usually packed in a white box. LSP_Mike
So one could get 109E overtrees, enogh for a model? Any savings? Lord knows I have enough 109 decals... LSP_K2

Lord knows I have enough 109 decals... They're all the plastic bits from the kit in a plain white box. No instructions even as those have to be downloaded. They're currently 20% off at Sprue Brothers as their weekend deal. LSP_K2

That's my understanding, yes. Though I have to admit I have never bought overtrees.
ziggyfoos
Again the Eduard site has description of the overtrees: https://www.eduard.com/eduard/overtrees/ "Overtrees scale kits are cheap way to get a complete set of sprues. Overtrees are released occasionally and are available for purchase for limited period of time and only at Eduard Store. This edition contains plastic parts only. Photoetch, masks, decals and Instruction sheet are not included." Although they say "only" at the Eduard store, at least retailers like SprueBros carries some.
