jgrease
I've recorded my trials and tribulations with the Special Hobby Boston IIIa in 1/72. This kit lingered on my bench for way too long, and this was my attempt at getting it done: Get Off My Bench! Please let me know what you think! Sabre F-86
Turned out not bad at all. I gave up on 72nd scale for the most part, there are some I still want to do. I did mostly 48th, but migrated to 32nd and 24th for the eyesight and twitching fingers reason. MikeC
MikeC
Great result on the Boston. It must be very satisfying to clear a real "shelf-sitter", I must try it sometime. 6 hours ago, Sabre F-86 said: I did mostly 48th, but migrated to 32nd and 24th for the eyesight and twitching fingers reason. Yes, that's exactly what I did; then I found the parts can be just as small, they simply represent even smaller details.

This was the first kit in this scale I had tried in years due to gathering everything at minimal cost. Much regret... On 10/16/2020 at 3:05 AM, MikeC said: Great result on the Boston. Unfortunately that was the case here - tiny parts I couldn't grip with tweezers to save myself. John MikeC
