I can set this (and more) option while uploading the photos with the uploader. However, the photos that are uploaded directly from the mobile are set as "private" as default. When I press and hold on the pic, a pop up gives 4 choices and you click on "share link " then another pop up gives you many choices to share. You click on "copy link" and then paste it into your thread comment box. By the way, I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Hope this helps someone!
