Back to the bench.

I wasn't going to do anything with the stock cockpit sidewalls. They had a basic representation of the structure, and thatd be perfectly adequate.

But then I went silly and decided to replace all the molded detail.

A few hours worth of chopping up Evergreen 90° angle looks much sharper.

After that I mixed up some Tamiya grey and blue and white to make the base colour for the cocpit.

Now out with the fine brush to fill in all the different detailed colours!

That really does look very very nice...Just love the wee Hawk, wish the RNZAF brought them instead of the 339CB's

Keep up the great work!

Thankyou mate!  I wonder how the hawks and aermacchisfair when they go head to head?

More importantly, I must send you a message one of these days about your adventures with Austers! We've got a J1 and a J1B in the family fleet in australia. Fun machines!

Sounds good mate....I am rebuilding WE552 to stock Military configuration.  She is on FB...I must update that page LOL.  Been too busy with plastic this year! Long road but about to get the upholstery sorted (down to 2 choices of people) then fabric on the fuse.

Keep up the great work and look forward to talking Austers sometime!

Good show.  Nice magazine racks.  I like the way you made the black rings around the white cabling.

Sincerely,

Mark

Thanks guys, its much appreciated!

I've slipped to page 2, so it must be time for an update:D

I'm in the process of reworking the nose gear bay, and then I think I might close up the fuselage.

More pics to come!
