Hawkwrench
What colors and brands do you guys use to paint the metallic red and metallic blue fuel and engine fittings on your models? So far, I haven't found anything that looks the closest to the real colors. I tried painting my parts silver followed up by an overcoat of tamiya clear red and tamiya clear blue and it looks ok, but still doesn't look like the real colors of the fittings. Thanks in advance! ScottsGT
Hit it with some semi flat clear after. Anodized aluminum has a dull sheen. JimRice
lawman56
I have yet to attempt this, however I've been browsing some model car/hot rod forums for ideas. There are quite a few AM items to dress them up, so I'm sure someone would have a successful tip
