1/32 Bf 109E Adolf Galland

To top it all off.  I have pictures and an autograph of Adoph Galland singing a Robert Taylor print, Dawn scramble while I was at Oshkosh many years (many) ago.  Robert Stanford Tuck unfortunately passed away before the event.  Herr General Galland attended the event in his honor/ absence.  A complete gent I must say.  He signed the print and mentioned in English, "I wish I had a squadron of Spitfires! " Brilliant.

Carry on Antonio.  You have a remarkable 109E build going on here.

Cheers,

thanks Mike, I saw that in another build :D

small update on the cockpit, since his 109 had  drop tank I had to add the fuel  panel under the IP, also the fuel pipe and some gauges and pull handles  missed before, also some maps to fill that map case.

so the building phase is done, painting coming soon...

cheers

Hi

This panel has nothing to do with fuel, it is the bomb priming panel found on the JaBo versions of the Me109

drop tank switch

This one is the tank release T-handle, basically a bicycle cable releasing the hook jaw on the tank mount. It was painted red by the way
