Paint safe(r) tweezers

Recommended Posts

I am often tempted to use tweezers to remove small bits of masking tape from fine detail painting efforts.  Much more precise than my stubby fingers.  But I’ve been burned by scratches in newly applied paint.  I found these ABS plastic tweezers on line.  They are not as precise as fine steel tweezers, but are noticeably better at not scratching stuff.

They would be useful for doing large-scale Tamiya kits like the Spitfire: the magnets in those have a tendency to magnetize my metal tweezers, which can be a right nuisance in some circumstances, such as dealing with etch.
