oyoy5
Hasegawa hands down, love the D-9 D Bellis and Rick Griewski
mywifehatesmodels
If you want to go the exposed engine route, out of the box, then probably the newer tooled Revell kits. But that's not usually how I build, so Hasegawa for me, too. John
chrish
The second release Hasegawa, not the early (first) one. D Bellis and Paul2660

Pup7309
So maybe the Revell... Landrotten Highlander and Rick Griewski
BarryWilliams
Hasegawa. Definitely. The Revell new tool I had was a mess of sink holes and the engine panels did not fit.
Cheetah11
I have done both and both have turned out great. Revell needed about three times more work though.
oyoy5
Yes the Revell kit is more complex to build no doubt there. For simplicity of build and look Hasegawa is the way to go.
Palm-tree
The Revell F-8: I had no issues with the engine fitting or the cowlings, although I was worried to begin with. Only criticism was the rib detail on the control surfaces which were raised lines , they perhaps could have been better. All the other parts fitted well and even the wing fuselage join was spot on and needed no filler on my kit. Nice touch were the multiple canopy choices: open/closed and bubble /square types, four in total, plus a nice thick clear armoured front windscreen. Revell have raised their game recently. Also have the Me-262 A-1/-2 which is good too. Edited July 11, 2020 by Palm-tree Spelling Rick Griewski
RBrown
Another nice feature of the Revell kits are the separate control surfaces.
thierry laurent
Hasegawa for a quick build and Revell for a detailed plane or a maintenance scene. Rick Griewski and Darren Howie
