I wouldn't want to put money on that, I can just see us getting to the 1st August with no announcement.

Maybe if we all boycott this thread, it might encourage them to cough up the truth.

I've lost interest now. No more from me.

Keeping us guessing for nine days is a bit wearisome. There are those who know who seem subjected to an embargo, possibly imposed by a cruel and wicked importer rather than HKM.

I am checking the HKM website every day to see if something appears...

Gentlemen, there is a quick and easy solution to your demands:

I simply suggest that someone starts to scratchbuild one of the above mentioned aircrafts. You know the rule: If you scratchbuild something it will be released immediatly as an injection molded kit. Mostly BEFORE you finished your own build.

Problem solved :D

So, who is up to the task...?

29 pages in, and all we've learned is that HKM are planning on releasing a 1/32 kit in July...which is exactly what we knew waaaaaaay back at post #1...

It may be all you have learned, my knowledge of RAF twin engined aeroplanes of WW2 has expanded considerably through this thread

Especially the ugly ones

I like that Lerwick, like a tiny Sunderland

That's more than the RAF did.  Apparently it was not that stable, and could not be trimmed to fly "hands off": a huge disadvantage for a long-range patrol type.  At least 10 were lost to accidents out of 21 built.  Nor could it maintain height on one engine.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saunders-Roe_A.36_Lerwick

Origins in WWII....

A Sea Venom to replace the matchbox kit?

Or even better, a single-seat Venom, and a Vampire while they're at it.

Hang on, isn't it supposed to be a multi-engine type?

Could it be a single engine aircraft like a Hawker Typhoon perhaps? The Revell kit is getting on a bit now.

Is there space in the market for one, I wonder?
