Has anyone converted Hasegawa Bf 109F-4 to a G-2 or 4

Not that I'm aware of.  You can convert is but why, other than there were some improvements to the F kit...you'd spend more time trying to find the correct windscreen and canopy for the G than were you to source a Hasegawa 109G-2 or G-4 kit and correct it.  Throw an aftermarket spinner at the G kit and you've taken care of one of, if not the biggest issue with the early G kits.

RU crazy ??

... but seriously, a G-2 wouldn't be too difficult but a G-4 would need bigger wheels (including tail wheel)

bigger prop blades, little scoops on the nose, different seat plus the stuff Juggernaut mentioned and more.

Alot easier to go from a G-6 to a G-4.

But then you need completely new gun throughs, that might be a bit of a pain.

Geesh Sean,

some of us waited forever it seems for an F variant.  Resin conversions for the Hasegawa   G-6 and later the easier G2/4 Kit were sold.  My F2/4 is still sitting and waiting for me to master “tree branch” camouflage; 7 years I bet. I am getting closer now that I am retired.  So I am with Jennings on this one.  Buy the G-4 kit.
