Dave Roof
This set includes two empty LAU-68F/A pods. The F/A is 11 inches longer than the LAU-68D/A and is used exclusively with the 2.75 APKWS rockets. Pod is used by the F/A-18, AV-8B, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, A-10, F-16 and a number of other aircraft. Pods are 3D printed and come ready to paint and attach to your model (no casting blocks or supports to remove). https://www.flyingleathernecksdecals.com/p/fl32-2012-lau-68fa-apkws-empty Edited June 16, 2020 by Dave Roof Vulcan, Isar 30/07, johncrow and 5 others

Kagemusha
Hi Dave, sorry I'm British, is the pod inboard of the sidewinders on this A-10C an LAU-68F/A?

It looks too short to be the F/A. More than likely a D/A (if the AF uses the same pod designations as the USN/USMC). I do have the shorter LAU-68 coming though. jmel
These look great. When do you anticipate having the loaded version ready? Jake

Jake Jake, I'm working on the rockets, APKWS and warheads now. If they work as planned, you'll assemble each rocket (the components can be painted separately) and simply slide them in the tube. Hoping to have the first test prints done by the end of the week. Pete Fleischmann and blackbetty 1

red Dog
Was a loaded pod released? I'm asking because I need a few pods for different project like an A-10 and an OV-10G+, but I'd really prefer loaded pods rather than empty ones. Are these still planned? Thanks
Juggernut
Would these be the rocket pods used in the Gulf by the Hornets (F/A-18D's?) for FASTFAC? I've been looking for such rockets for awhile and once I can get my grubby mits on another Academy D (for a decent price), I may just bite....
