mkd1966
Does anyone make an aftermarket resin contra-rotating spinner and propeller for the late model spitfires or seafires ? Thanks in advance, Mike
LSP_Ron
Freight dog models used to make a Seafire 47 conversion for the Matchbox/Revell Mk 22/24 kit that included the contra rotating prop. As far as I know it's long out of production but you could ask around in the traders board here. Someone here is bound to have an extra one. LSP_Ron
It think that was the only variant of Spit that used that prop? I read somewhere that a Mk XIV was converted to a contra rotating prop as a prototype.

Out2gtcha
The FM&P Red Baron P-51 also has a contra-rotating prop/spinner. Not sure its something anyone would want to sacrifice, but might be able to model one after it?

BloorwestSiR
I've got one of Graham's props to use on a Spitfire 21 conversion hopefully. It's nicely done. Carl mkd1966
LSP_Ron
Did the Mk 22/24 use that prop often? I thought it was only a prototype thing on later Spits? Pics are hard to find.
