Sabre F-86
Is it just me or has Squadron pretty much given up on canopies? Only one I find on their web site in 32nd is the P-51. Did a different search, came up with two pages worth, all 72nd and 48th.
spruebrothers
I would guess they ran out of money. Need money to have inventory.
Astro32
They've been scaling back their vac offerings for a long time. I'd imagine that demand for them has been on the decline and it's just not worth the cost of producing them.
LSP_Ray
I thought Falcon produced them for Squadron?
D.B. Andrus
Try this link: http://www.falconmodels.co.nz/squadron32.html Squadron's search engine really sucks. Astro32 and LSP_K2

markiii
I got the A-10A canopy a year or two ago, glad I did.
Kapiti Kid
Ooops. I've just noticed that the link to the 1/32 Erla canopy was screwed up ... I've fixed it now. Not that it seems to be much use, because the availability of everything seems to be "Available to order", which presumably means they'd ask Falcon to run off some more. Yeah, right. Sabre F-86
thanks for the link. I too noticed they are all available to order. Might give it a try just to see what happens.
Kapiti Kid
I might have found a source. The model shop in Wellington (Modelcraft & Hobbies) used to have the full range of Falcon Clearvax and Squadron canopies. Since Richard Alexander sold the shop when he was headhunted to manage Wingnut Wings, it's been through a number of owners. Last time I looked it was an empty shop, but it still seems to exist online. The website is very poor (they can't even spell their address right), and the search facility particularly poor, but at least they do seem to have a fair number of Squadron canopies in stock. Only two 1/32 and no 1/24 though. Try this: https://www.modelcraftsandhobbies.co.nz/search?query=crystal+clear
Kapiti Kid
On second thoughts, this could be a better source: http://www.jaysmodelkits.com/jaysmk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=
D.B. Andrus
Contact Falcon directly, I've bought from him in the past.
