BradG
No 25 Squadron received Beaufighters too in early September but were held in reserve until conversion to night fighters. P-40's were also delivered but judged unfit for combat and held in reserve although some served in training roles like those at 1683 Bomber defence training unit. Greif8
I am in, and I may have enough time on my hands to build two kits; a Dragon Bf109 E-4 and a PCM Hurricane (metal wing).

RLWP
I'm not coming up with much for the film either. No JU-52, I'm not making a Proctuka, and I'm not up for turning a B-25 into a camera plane Any idea what helicopter was used for filming? LSP_Ron
9 hours ago, Shawn M said: agreed, if thats the "definitive" list then Im out Just to clarify that is not the definitive list. That is just the list from the previous GB that I think was the 70th anniversary if I recall correctly and accurate for actual BOB aircraft but ....... .....this is also part of the rules for this GB as Brad states. Quote Any aircraft engaged in the battle starting from June 1940's nuisance raids through to the end of the peak bombing raids in November. Support units, RAF bombers and aircraft held in reserve at the time are all eligible. Also included are aircraft from the Battle of Britain movie, if you want to build Maj. Fohn's Buchon or Squadron Leader Skippers Spitfire as they appear on film. You can also build an aircraft of the Battle of Britain memorial flight or commemorative aircraft, such as the Eurofighter painted as a Hurricane. So that broadens out the possibilities greatly. RLWP
Now that's interesting, thank you for posting it. Googling 'G-AWAP 1969' brings up this: https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/registration/G-AWAP Right aircraft, wrong date That Revell Alouette kit is as elusive as most of the BoB kits so I doubt I'll build it Richard MORE: Have a look at 5:09: Edited May 7, 2020 by RLWP Sepp and Lud13

I think my Lightning and my commission-build Stieglitz will keep me fully occupied, especially if we're allowed to start playing golf again so sadly I'm out! But the next one, the Trainer GB, now that's another story. Lothar
