Steve C 24
Any idea when RoG will release the late model (with fin fillet) P-51D? There was a sprue shot floating around a while ago so they have the tooling already complete. Steve D Bellis

Rick Griewski 3,575
I took my eye off of the late P-51. All the WNW drama (buying kits) and other new kits available now or coming out soon puts the Revell kit down on the list. My Tamiya Mustang will have to hold me over. MikeMaben 7,532
I swear someone said they purchased the filleted sprue individually. Wonder
Rick Griewski 3,575
I have purchased extra P-51D canopies from Tamiya America; great service. Maybe the filleted sprue is available.
cbk57 1,526
Lot’s of people on here will have a spair filleted tamiya sprue, I suspect I do as my last build was filletless. I did not even know Revell was releasing another Mustang personally but a revell D mustang does not excite me. I prefer the Tamiya kit and would just build one of those. Dave Williams 3,680
Aerocraft makes a resin filleted tail for the Revell kit. https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/p-51-mustang-late-style-tail-revell coogrfan and Out2gtcha
oyoy5 225
The Tamiya tail fits the Revell kit very well. LSP_K2

Johnny Cloud 31
I was wondering if there is any news on the late Revell P-51D? Out2gtcha

I know they re-released the non filleted version w/new decals, but have not heard anything about the filleted version. I would have thought it would have been out long before now. Royboy 1,167
Revell seem to have gone very quiet on all fronts regarding release information? Perhaps we'll just have to wait until the next Nuremburg Show in 2021? There's plenty to do until then so I can wait!! Jack
