Can you imagine the uproar if Trumpeter had released their SBD without bombs, or various companies had released a Ju87 without a bomb? Seems like the same nickel-and-dime pay for extras that should be in the kit strategy that they used on the Helldiver. Well, actually Trumpeter released many kits with the wrong bombs or with misshaped ones...

CRAZY IVAN5
Add to that , there's photoetch , the devil's playground. I'd sooner take the time to "thin" things down than mess about with photoetch but that's me

CRAZY IVAN5
I'm wondering if they'll offer the D3Y2 engine cowling , it's a little different [ more rounded and with a spinner] ?

mywifehatesmodels
I like what I'm seeing, for the most part. Agree that it could probably use a little polishing and filler here and there, but I don't have the final version in hand, either. One thing I know for a fact is that I've built a LOT worse. Borsos
I simply love the new Val and will definitely buy one (or two). we are living in golden times! Normally I just don’t know what to build next when I look at my stash. There’s so much to do that I collected (my wife says „hoarded“) over tge years and that attracts me and cries „build me!“ But right now, there are just so many new releases that all cry to be build that I feel the same just looking at these… Andreas esarmstrong, KiwiZac, Archimedes and 1 other
Kagemusha
Looks like the kit will be available for the Moson show on April 22nd, and the kit comes with bombs included. Zola25, nmayhew and coogrfan 2

I have one AM armor piercing bombs that, IIRC were made from naval gun ammunition. I bought it when I started scratch building a VAL years ago. CRAZY IVAN5
Has anybody heard of a price on the Val? I'd really like to expand my collection of Japanese aircraft as I've built everything Hasegawa has done, including the ancient Oscar.
