Thunnus
This is my recently completed conversion of the 1/32 Revell Bf109G-6 kit into a Bf109G-6/AS using the AMUR Reaver resin cowling. Incliuding the AMUR Reaver cowling, I added the following aftermarket items into the build: 1. AMUR Reaver Bf109G-6/AS resin cowling and supercharger intake 2. Aires Bf109G-6 resin cockpit 3. Barracuda Bf109F-G-14 resin prop and spinner 4. Barracuda Bf109G resin wheels, ribbed tire/smooth hub 5. Barracuda Bf109G resin exhausts 6. Synthetic Ordinance Works Bf109G resin/metal landing gear legs 7. EagleCals Bf109G6 decal sheet #32-42 The national markings and swastika were painted using custom cut masks. AK Real Colors RLM 76 Version 2 was used for the external colors. The complete build log can be found here... rafju, Gazzas, aircare84 and 20 others

Kagemusha
What to say what I haven't previously... utterly perfect rendition, thoroughly enjoyed the build, delighted you have the Ta 152H on the go, and it might not be en vogue, but I really like that you have the canopy closed, so you can truly enjoy the lines of this classic fighter. chuck540z3
Beautiful, with a nasty demeanour about it, which is what it should look like. Congrats on another fantastic model! Cheers, Chuck Thunnus

The 109 was such a different plane than the Corsair... so much smaller and the cockpit much more cramped! But the builds were similar in that I was working off a palette of blues. 11 hours ago, Gazzas said: She's a beauty, John! Thanks Gaz! Appreciate it! 10 hours ago, williamj said: WOW!...Nice. Thank you William! 10 hours ago, Martinnfb said: Phenomenal ! A clear proof how to make one tone camouflage interesting and tastefully realistic. Bravo! Cheers Martin Thanks Martin! The pre-shading routine that I use (which has changed over time) helps to give a little tonal variation to the camo colors. 7 hours ago, LSP_Ray said: That is beautiful, John! Thank you! I prefer the canopy and all hatches and cowlings in the closed position. I think the planes look leaner and meaner that way. 5 hours ago, Scale32 said: What a cracker! Lovely work John. That's what I like about the G-6/AS conversion... it conveys the purposefulness of that bulged engine cowling that is missing on the Revell kit.
