mozart
Really looking great Tom, an unusual build sequence for sure, but looking great! Uncarina

Yes, very true. I’ve been focused mainly on the airframe modifications so far, now hopefully the rest falls together! 5 hours ago, monthebiff said: Very nice Tom, coming together very nicely. Regards. Andy Andy, thank you! Aside from the intake lip the fit has been impressive so far. Cheers, Tom
Phartycr0c
Tom, its been a while since i have done a jet subject but your choice of airframe and the work you've done on it is superb. I love the tail fin markings, looking forward to the finished build Uncarina
Uncarina
Thank you! Your encouragement means a lot. Just the thing to help me see it through amidst other distractions, such as my MiG-29. I will focus on finishing up the upper airframe before painting the darker grey next. Cheers, Tom
Uncarina
I've managed to finish most of the airframe, with just the light fittings adjacent to the intake to modify. The CFT's fit well with clamping, and I used stretched sprue and Apoxy Sculpt for the liner. I added the carbon fiber decals to the exhaust, but haven't yet weathered this area. Paint soon! F`s are my favs
Can't recall another word other than Legit! Very nice vert. stabilizator and I can barely imagine what the rest would look like with such a thin over coat. Uncarina
Uncarina
Thank you! I’m using MRP this time. It definitely sprays thinner than Tamiya, even straight out of the bottle. Cheers, Tom F`s are my favs
Uncarina
Second take on the coloration. I wasn't pleased with the contrast on the tail, then learned that the light grey color was bluer than FS 36375. I sprayed the darker color over the airframe and the tail (gulp), then reapplied the masks for the second application--these masks are some of the most complicated I've ever used. Color me happy! spyrosjzmichos
Great progress Tom! Looks like it's going to turn into one beautiful F-16!
Uncarina
Thank you! It’s definitely not an out of the box build, but I’m happy with how it’s turning out. Cheers, Tom
Uncarina
I've been taking a break from the build to work on another subject, but here is where I am for the time being. I still have some touching up to do, but not too much further to go. Cheers, Tom panzerrob, Out2gtcha, Derek B and 5 others
