Holy Moley Brett - just came across this.  This Corsair looks like it can fire up and fly away!  Great realism - I can only hope to obtain a fraction of it with my continuing 1/18 Corsair build.  You have inspired me!

Beautiful job, Brett! Such a distinctive marking. It's really a pity that there isn't more background on the history of this plane.

Amazing effort, it looks so good! I really prefer modelling jets, but I have this kit in the stash. One day I’ll get on to it, and can only hope it looks half as good as this! Bravo!!!

What a wonderful build, and beautifully finished too.  Your weathering and tonal changes are amazing.  I hope I can do mine half as well.  Brilliant work.

Cheers,

Michael

This is the essence of Corsairs enchanted in the plastic model! It maybe cliche but I will say it nevertheless - it DOES look like the real aircraft. Very impressive.

Superb work, the painting is dead on!

Your skills compliment Tamiya's great kit beautifully.
