Peter I should like to point out that modelling porn is not as glamorous as it may seem. The hours can be long, the lights too hot and the positions uncomfortable to maintain for extended periods of time. johncrow, Phartycr0c, thierry laurent and 3 others 1
Phartycr0c
Superlatives have abandoned me Oliver. This is plastic craftsmanship of the top order. The huskie is already looking like another winner and the H34 conversion ? well Generally, I seem to recall that FLY did have some plans in the pipeline for extending the Wessex range but as the original releases were limited run and If one becomes available I would advise anyone who has been prevaricating on purchase to grab them while they are still around. They are great kits if not a little "challenging" (for me mainly) Edited June 10, 2020 by Phartycr0c
shark64
thanks guys for the comments. The nose conversion for the h.34 is done and i am waiting for the piece to arrive in the mail. The huskie has been fun so far, I am looking for engine and open cowlings photos and i have contacted contacted a museum to see if i can get photos from the last flying h.43.....will see. The fly model of the wessex is a challenging kit to say the least, not locating tabs and poor instructions manual. Oliver

scvrobeson
Where did that engine come from Oliver? The detail work looks fantastic on a truly ancient piece of plastic. Surprised it didn't come with some Egyptian hiroglyphs or some sort of curse. Matt Pete Fleischmann and firefly7

Its been fun so far. scvrobeson and Lothar

Building and staying out of the heat. This is supposed to be our first week completely over 100, I'm sure it's the same down by you. Matt
brahman104
I can't 3D print as neat as you do styrene....... I love seeing your builds come together Oliver. The Huskie is looking great; looking forward to seeing you make a T.53 out of the Arado engine. Cheers, Craig

Touche -very kind of you to say Oliver but utter bollocks as you have it the wrong way round It is I who want to model like you... I think of you every time I try to work with plastic and my blade wanders, my edges are out of square and I have rounded corners where I don't want them - what you do as witnessed again above is witchcraft and I think we are lucky we don't live in the 16th century or people might want to set fire to you... I visit to be humbled and it works every time... Peter LSP_Kevin and Starfighter
