Actually, most of the photos I've found with German military cars, do not show a horn, or maybe it's a hidden kind?

 

But we do want a horn don't we?

Type three Protos with a 'remote' horn, I think this may be the 'chunky' German you are referring to?

I would prefer the bicyclist's horn. 

Considering the time frame, the noise of the car had its effect getting everything out of the way, so the horn might be too much!

But, is it a Adler you build Kent?

Just curious, I do not know the early types...
