seiran01
The engine looks gorgeous but count me out for it. This model is already pricey enough for my tastes Anthony in NZ
Stevepd
I asked earlier in the thread if the order book was still open as I’d rather have this than any rendition of a big Lancaster. However have just spent £3683 on a major service and some rectification work to my car, I just cannot justify the cost Anthony in NZ
Anthony in NZ
Great news is that he has a new printer and the price is now £45-50 for the Dart . The prototype print on his page looks amazing Landrotten Highlander and Iain 1

I had to confess to my wife last night. Let’s just say “very average response “ But I got a green light only just Stevepd

Anthony in NZ
Not sure if that includes shipping, I doubt it will, but at such a reduction in price I will order one Iain
Iain
Is that for the Dart - and the open cowl panels Anthony? Assuming it isn't? Iain
Iain
Hmmm - just saw the 1:32 print on his Facebook page as well - and leaning towards getting one - but I think I'd want the cowl panels as well - even if they need tweaking a litte... Certainly looks impressive next to 1:72 and 1:144 prints! Iain LSP_Kevin, Derek B and Landrotten Highlander
Anthony in NZ
I agree, I would want the cowl panels as well. Does look nice doesn’t it and will save me many hours work
Iain
It's things like the regularity/symmetry of the casing bolt castings that are almost impossible to do by hand - but are really easily done in a CAD package. Will save a huge amount of time that can be re-deployed elsewhere on the model. I think I'm sold - but I might need two - or to make a resin copy of the intake ring for the opposing side, so they match... Anthony in NZ
Oh good point and an extra spinner maybe I could ask for each engine to come with a spare nose ring and spinner ? I’m definitely going to get one now Edited March 29, 2020 by Anthony in NZ

Iain
Spinner is a different type - so not applicable to the Andover (pity). Iain Anthony in NZ
