periklis_sale
Hi guys I need your advice as I was asked to build an F-18F super hornet in 1/32 with jolly Roger's markings 1. Which kit should i for an easier build? 2. Needs to have AGM-84H SLAM-ER with folded wings. Where can I get them from? 3. AIM-9X as well. Where do I get them? 4. Exhaust? Shall I go for resin? And if yes which ones? 5. Do I need resin seats? The canopy will be closed so is the kit offerings ok? 6.What else shall I add to enhance the external look of plane and weapons? 7. Decals? Any other advise? Thanks
Rick Griewski
Large Part of the fun of building a model that I am interested in is to learn about the subject and then go shopping for the after market goodies. I recommend searching the WWW for kit build videos. HTH.

Thanks i built an E: https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/52737-superbug-twin-tails-´n-twin-engines-finished/ thanx to foto bucket the pics are blurred, i can send you a wetransfer with the pics if you want 1. the revell kit has a lot of issues in the fit department, the is a thread on here "revell kit with lessons learned" - decide for yourself (the revell klit of the F is not out yet) 2. there is a slammer in the kit with seperate fins 3. ther are some in the kit (yuck), but go zactomodels 4. i didnt 5. you besically need a whole pit. the kit coaming is abysmal, an academy legacy hornet kit helps, it has extra parts 6. seamless intakes, the ACS stacks, all pylons are unusable 7. furball seems to make some the most important of all: GET JAKE MELAMPYS SUPERHORNET BOOK hth Edited February 10, 2020 by blackbetty Rick Griewski
periklis_sale
thank you so much I see you didn't go for resin exhausts. Are the kit ones good? ACS stacks? What is this? are there pylons in the market available? so I can pose the slam-er fin closed I will have the canopy closed so I will just go for resin seats shall I get Eduard exterior? I think I will go for the Trumpeter as it is the only F

I think I will go for the Trumpeter as it is the only F the kit ones are ok, but there are better ones i think the ACS stacks are on the spine between the vertical tails, quickboost makes them yes, there were pylons availible, but i cant remember (see the thread) i dont know about the closed slammer fins, but i think you can quickboost makes a seat too (i think) personally i only replaced the mesh in the forward fuselage underside with PE, i didnt look at the Eduard parts at the moment the trumpy F is the only game ion town
