cbk57
I just looked at ebay, it does not matter where you live, $100.00 is about right. A few are less auction, there was a buy it now free shipping for $95.00 that was a real steal. If you watch maybe that will come around again. phasephantomphixer

williamj
Have a feeling this wasn't the big hit Airfix was counting on,Now had they re-tooled up a Spit MkII wouldn't be able to keep on the shelves. But what do I know eh? phasephantomphixer, BiggTim and Uncarina

cbk57
I like this kit, have not got to buying one yet but the -3 is a more exciting subject than the -5. They need to do the mods and follow up with a -3 in the next year or two. BiggTim and williamj

Wayyyyy more than I would pay, but my interest in it is kind of low. I would pay that and more for a 1/24 p-38!! Now if and when they ever do the -3, I'll simply have to have one of those. The same thing happened to me with the Tamiya Corsairs, the birdcage version does absolutely nothing at all for me, but the next release, the -1A, was a highly desirable kit to me that I now have one of here in my stash. LSP_Mike
I don't see any other WWII Brit subject worth doing in 1/24 other than the Mossie, Hurri and Spitty. I would like to see a Beaufighter and Swordfish, but won't hold my breath. Uncarina

I think a big Lysander would be cool too, though I have no real idea how popular that might be. Airfix could also give us some big 109's and Fw 190's, and those would probably sell big time, I'd think.
phasephantomphixer
And speaking of bluebirds, they should've chose to make the Corsair instead. Uncarina and williamj
