The Phantom
And to look at an F3. The canopy will need replacing as the cockpit modded
Michael931080
That’s a really simple and neat conversion! Hmmmm, might be something I might consider for my Hellcat!
phasephantomphixer
Nice review. Don't see any cockpit additions. Is there a scope, etc? Guess the "Nightcat" didn't have exhaust dampeners

I did google the ip for both -5 and -5N and they are virtually the same. LSP_K2

Ali62
Firstly thanks for the review, Andrew and Kevin. Have a look at my website there are quite a few more Hellcat options available right now, I know Andy will get to showing more in the next little while. As for the instrumentation.......Well I searched for information and pictures and did not come up with much other than what I will show below. IF anybody has any definative changes / information on instrumentation and radar scope well I may look at them....... MAYBE Quite a few have asked in various formats and the question has been answered but just to do that here, I am going to be offering a (fairly) comprehensive -3 conversion, new screen and side windows as have already been done and there will be other parts that are needed to make the -3, exterior mainly, BUT I do not intend to get hung up on small and minor cockpit details. IF there is a BIG item or items that need changing then I ask any experts to share or contribute that information SOON. So here is the picture I found on the WEB showing the SCOPE and also a picture of the supplied KIT part......yes some will pick me and it all apart but to me even in this large scale WHAT more could I do (Practically) to make it different, if you know how show me please??? The main square even in 1/24 scale is 4mm x 4mm, and it could be made to look like a scope I am sure? Thanks to all that support all my various products, quite a few more will be following soon, in various scales BUT of course there will be LSP subjects. Ali SORRY could not get pictures to load up as normal but links below are working well I think so??? https://www.flickr.com/photos/154612402@N07/49507430091/in/dateposted-public/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/154612402@N07/49506919243/in/dateposted-public/ Edited February 8, 2020 by Ali62 The Phantom

As in Ali's link, here is a pic of the kit IP: Which is actually a F-6f5(N) IP! Could use some extra detailing, though. To get an accurate "normal" panel, you need the Airscale IP: So there was no need to provide a radar scope. LSP_K2 and Out2gtcha

Kagemusha
When I was doing some research for the review, I came across this, which shows the differences between the Hellcat IP's. phasephantomphixer
