Another beautiful build Koralik.  Did you use MRP paints?

No, I didn't use MRP paints, I don't use products dedicated to modeling works,
I use Car Refinishes products like Sikkens Autowave and PPG Envirobase.

Ok, so a type of automotive acrylics and clearcoats.  Do they come pre-thinned?

Yes, I use water-borne acrylic paints, of course they require the addition of a thinner, I usually also add an activator to speed up the process.

Are the paints true acrylics, or like Tamiya paints.  I ask because I usually thin my Tamiya paints with lacquer thinner and wonder if you can do the same with the paints you use.

Acrylic is a type of resin, and this doesn't mean that the product is waterborn, you may have solventborn acrylic paints.

But if you have thinned this paint with aceton you can.

All true, I did not write my question very well though.  What I really meant, and wrote so poorly, was are the paints only reducible by using water or can they be reduced by lacquer thinner or a similar thinner?  As you very likely already know acrylic resin can be suspended in a medium that is only reducible by water, such a Lifecolor arcylics, or - as you pointed out a solvent type medium that can be reduced by either water-based or lacquer thinners.

If I understand correctly the paint you used can be reduced by both types of thinners.

In general, you can do that.
As a chemistry technologist - specialist in paint coatings, I will not write about the sense of such action, but you can.
