A very fine rendition of both the Spitfire and the scheme.

Your pink really looks like a tactical colour whereas some interpretations make the pink so saturated they look more like a Barbie doll accessory.

Thank you so much, I did a custom mix

Beautifully done.  I would comment on the colour, but others above have said it all above, it looks just right.  The weathering looks appropriate, too, there's a photo in one of the Ventura PR Spitfire books that looks just like that.

A lovely looking Spit Aaron, and a very effective display base......more info about how you achieved that please! :)

Reality in scale mat and a bulk purchase of wooden plinths from Telford a couple of years ago!

Thanks

Hi Mike

Hopefully you can see it in the flesh at Peterborough show ;)

Would luv to have a flick through your book as well ;);)

Been high and low through the web for a copy without success.

Indeed, the trick to get a correct scale PRU pink is to add some light grey and not simply mix red and white.

Thank you, from recollection it was 3/4 pot of white, 2 drips of red, 1/4 pot of off white and 5 drips of grey. Very scientific my painting methods :D
