williamj
Thanks for following along and the nice comments gentlemen. And Martin.BIG thanks for the pics, they help...But It won't be a winner of any kind, can't fix everything. If I was hired by Trumpeter they'd be putting me on the "B" team. But do thank you very much for the sentiment. Edited May 14, 2020 by williamj D.B. Andrus, Martinnfb, MikeMaben and 2 others 2

Martinnfb
That combination of two kits with the help of your talent and skills is definitely paying off William. I like how the shape flows, a lot. williamj, Sakai, coogrfan and 1 other
Wolf Buddee
Beautifully done Bill! Great job mating the Trumpeter wings with the Hasegawa fuselage. That makes a huge difference in overall detail. What paints are you using? Cheers, Wolf Sakai

Cheers, Wolf Big thanks Wolf..for the US Navy off white I used Tamiya in the spray can, decanted ,thinned, and shot with the Iwata HB C+. Intermediate blue was Model master, the Navy dark blue is my own mix using Tamiya colours, and saved a bit in a small jar for the inevitable touch ups. Cheers my friend.. BiggTim
Agreed. I used some of them on my Hellcat years ago, along with some painted markings, and they look about the same in the end. Sakai, williamj and Martinnfb
