Iain,

They are retailing at just north of £36.00. If you are interested in getting your hands on one, I have one for just south of £30.00?

Sorry - just spotted!

Many thanks for the thought - but already have one on the way...

The kit came Saturday. I will clip it off the sprues and tape it up Today. BTY I am glad I bought the resin spoked wheels.

Rick

Box open, cutters flailing and with tape in hand.

I am very happy with the kit!  Highlights for me:

— external seams will need no filler except where the center wing belly meets the fuselage. Wing root is well done.

— clear parts are well done. I like the closed or open canopy option and painting masks

— resin prop is lovely

— PE looks great and it looks to be useful over all.
— great selection of ac to portray.

Challenge:

— some fragile parts

— landing gear will be weak

— I replaced spokes wheels, the tail wheel is mush

— plastic has texture that with require primer IMHO

I will order another kit and resin wheels

Iain,

Enjoy. From what I have seen and I have only cracked the lid to take a peek, its a really tasty kit. I hope that the AM guys knock out some markings for the Spanish Civil war and Post-SCW as that would be the icing on the cake.

Stay safe.

Gary.

Not sure if they're available, but these should fit the bill.

Got mine last week. REALLY nice kit, and the plastic is pretty nice too.......................the only down side to the kit IMHO, is that the plastic is nice, but it does have a slight orange peel look to it.

Not sure how it will look under paint/primer, but its not too bad, but will remain to be seen if it will take more work than a general swipe with some 600 wet dry.

The Eduard resin wheels/gear doors, as well as the Eduard "LOOK" IPs are really nice additions.

Mine arrived today, yeah. Really nice little aircraft which looks fun to build.  I bought all the extra's with the kit just because, but except for the wheels, the other after market stuff isn't really necessary.

Couldn't help myself cutting the big parts from the runners and tape them together. Fit is good and with careful building filler isn't really needed. The only place where some filler is needed is the join between the wing underside and back of the fuselage.

Personally I can't wait to really start on this one!

To me the effect is more like a satin finish on the plastic surface.  A very fine one but sanding it off evenly could be difficult.

Overall a nice kit and I like the various aircraft decal options that were included.
