Bf 109 E1 late canopy and armor

Hello everyone,

 

  I would like to model this "Yellow 12 " profile with a late canopy and armor but the Eduard kit only has an early canopy and no armor (like in "Red 16" above it). I've done some searching on the net for canopies and armor but can't seem to find any. Any suggestions from you all about what I can do?

I'd think your best bet would be to find someone on the trader forum, that has a 109-E4 canopy and armor going spare.

I have the exact same problem with my Dragon kit; have the E-4 style, but need the E-3 style.

You'll find 2 types of head armor on Sprue E. 

 

Also, Eduard's E-3, E-3/4 and E-7 kits contain both styles of later E canopy/windscreen on Sprue I. Their E-1 and E-1/3 boxings only come with the E-1 style canopy/windscreen on Sprue J.
