The price is displayed with VAT to customers from the EU and without VAT for customers outside the EU. The shopping cart software does that automatically. I have the same system in my store. I seriously doubt that anyone likes VAT except for your taxman. "Professional" customers are not always and automatically exempt from handling VAT.
