One tiny detail to consider - although I suppose it would be difficult to add it at this point: as mentioned earlier, the V18/U2 apparently had provisions for a telescopic sight, including a 'trough' cut out in front of the wind shield. I have a feeling I've seen a photo of this arrangement somewhere, but can't find it. In any case, it would likely have been pretty similar to the arrangement of the telescopic sight in the Focke-Wulf Flitzer mock-up, or the BV 155V3.
