Ossington 1
Tsk. You'd think it would have slats and maybe an engine.

Rob Colvin
If it is the JSI/Merritt/ 21 Century......it will have flaps and slats.......I suspect there is a 2 seater as well. I hope our friends at MPM/HPH, who did an 18th scale 262, can put together a detail set for this kit. Ossington 1
I have one by Admiral. I don't know if it's a stand-alone make or a re-badge of 21 Century kit. I think it has slats but it is so deep in the stash I can't find it readily.
CATCplSlade
It's probably a rebadge of the 21st release as the nightfighter had the bombs.
Andrea Ferrari
Can anybody comment on the 21st Century toy, which I believe is the origin of this kit? Shapes, proportions, major faults - is it true to the real thing? I do realize it is oversimplified, but I am just wondering if it has many major outline mistakes which would be difficult/impossible to correct. Radub
The "shadow" behind the canopy points towards a possible two-seater. This is going to be quite a beast! Radu
LSP_Ray
If you blow it up, it appears the slats are separate parts. I would be interested, but I actually already have one of the old MPM/HPH 1/18 kits. It is a beast!

Unfortunately I sold my nachtjager years ago, but consensus was it was pretty close to the mark. The Admiral version was also considered quite good; they both had little pros and cons of their own. 21st had Roy Sutherland working for them as a project manager and he was the one who pushed for the 'less toy, more replica' appearance. Thanks - that makes it even more inviting! Now it remains to be seen if Trumpeter will be coming out with a 1/24 kit of their own...
Tony T
As this offering seems to be official new Hobby Boss "biggie" for 2020, does this mean I'm not getting a 1/32 Halifax, Catalina or Hustler then? Tony Royboy
