What’s the other Greek option? BTW, that aircraft can be built from the kit since it’s not a -5 type upgrade. https://www.airfighters.com/photo/200153/M/Greece-Air-Force/Dassault-Mirage-2000EG/239/ It has the original C IP https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8109341 Out2gtcha
thierry laurent
Indeed, I mixed things. This is actually two schemes with tail arts including one Greek scheme. Unfortunately, discussing the schemes looks quite useless as the kit decals seem close to impossible to use correctly. Moreover, as all stencils are in French doing a foreign plane asks for aftermarket decals. jgrease and Jack

I don't know my Mirages all that well, so thought perhaps the KH kit needed some resin fixings of some sort, though what I've seen so far looks pretty nice. Collin
Anyone have opinions on these decals, other than being expensive: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FFSMC-Productions-Decals-1-32-Mirage-2000C-et-5F-Français-ref-P-32-052-/293289949818

The Decal sheets (there is one for the common markings and one for the squadron markings) are quite full of details that you don't find on the OOB sheet. Quality looks fine of the decals themselves. Anyway, cannot be worse than the original kiity hawk sheet that is quite inacurate (and if I trust the comments here and there, the decals from KH are quite thick and difficult to set) There is a 15 pages leaflet with instructions (in french except for the instruction guidelines that are also in english) and details pictures (for the seat and landing gear details). There are also decals from Berna for the M2000C with more choice for the squadron markings. Quality is overall good as well. May be less details on the technical markings than FFSMC. https://www.aviationmegastore.com/dassault-mirage-2000c-bd32-66-berna-bd32-66-aircraft-scale-modelling-decals/product/?action=prodinfo&art=167988 https://www.aviationmegastore.com/dassault-mirage-2000c-bd32-65-berna-bd32-65-aircraft-scale-modelling-decals/product/?action=prodinfo&art=167987 https://www.aviationmegastore.com/dassault-mirage-2000c-bd32-64-berna-bd32-64-aircraft-scale-modelling-decals/product/?action=prodinfo&art=167989 I used some several years ago on a smaller scale model (Mirage 2000 testbed for the Rafale, by the way you can find the conversion kit on FFSMC store) and they were top notch to my opinion once on the model (they can look weird if you look closely on the sheet but once installed it's ok). thierry laurent
Good to know as I got them. I was sure Berna would release some as well but the quality of the Berna decals may be very variable... Lothar

discus
Well as I plan to do several M2000, I ordered also the Berna decal sheets but I have yet to receive them. I let you know my impressions when I get them. Edited February 23, 2020 by discus Lothar
thierry laurent
Some close friends had quite mixed results going from bad (too stiff decals with quite bad adherence) to good some years ago. However, according to them, the good ones were not exceptional. I also own several Berna sets but have never used them up to now. However, I trust those modellers. They are talented guys. It looks there is really a gambling and black magic dimension in decal use... Lothar

I have never experienced any issues with decals since I started using Future as a decal softener many years ago. It makes the decal film go almost liquid and also acts as a glue. On large decals the effect can be too much so thin down with water a little. Cheers, Marcel
