Rog :)

I have 4 books , one Polish, one Russian and 2 German.

There are interior photos that are obviously not complete

but there aren't complete interior photos of many models.

This is certainly something out there, probably tons of good info, but PR drawings and the like should never be the basis of any model larger than 1/144.

A  lot can be extrapolated from basic dimensions.

OK, THAT makes me wonder: how much in the way of planes, tanks and other "stuff" lies hidden away in Russia? Is it possible they have 109s and 190s tucked away? Tiger tanks?

Quite a rabbit hole to go down.

It does make you wonder.  Many years ago I went to look at a building about an hour west of Perm Russia.  It turned out to be an WW2 heavy truck factory from WW2 that they closed in the 90's.  A total 1940 time capsule,  they just closed the doors and left.  It was full of American made machine tools.  Mills, lathes, shapers, rivet machines, welders, drill press etc all from WW2. Had the classic triangle shaped overhead window that open for ventilation and cast iron tile floor.

Very cool,  very cool

Just to clarify, this wasn't an aircraft that survives, but one that was comprehensively assessed when it was newly delivered (1939?).

The photographs were something of a revelation, like the best walkarounds of museum exhibits,

Cheers,

Bill.
