I would buy bagged kits.  The P-40N comes to mind. There are plenty of aftermarket decals etc.. many of which I already have.

Me too. Wonder why Hasegawa doesn't sell 'em that way.

No, as Mike mentioned it was the N but with all the parts of the other Hasegawa releases except the K. So, you can easily build any E, M or N from that kit.

Are you sure?  I've just checked out the instruction sheet on the P-40N https://www.eduard.com/out/media/11104.pdf

It's got most of the parts such as the insert for the windows behind the cockpit, but there is only one rear fuselage/fin, sprue I.  So unless I'm missing seeing it, there is no "short tail" variant, which means you can't do an E.

At least sure for my kit box! It has both.

Fair enough.  I don't have one, I was going by the sprue plans on the instructions.

Have a look here: http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=13356

This will show you the kit sprues.

Thanks Thierry.  My mistake.  I wonder if the new one will have all the necessary bits as well.  I could be tempted as I do have a certain liking for the P-40.
