I've seen photos of BBD after VE day with her black/white check livery. This may have been a public relations aircraft or something along those lines. As usual, Miloslav knocks it out of the park! The 8th AF did a bit of commander shuffling after the war in Europe ended. Col. Landers was assigned to the 361st FG and brought BBD along with him, and had her repainted in 361st colours. There are photos of this aircraft here on LSP, Craig Quattlebaum did one in 1/24 and provided the research. And, another beautiful build Miroslav!! Sorry, for the detour above on the comments.
