ringleheim
Oh! So that's why they have these jet blast deflector shields on aircraft carrier decks!

chrish
Hahahahaha it looks like the pilot vectored the thrust to do just that!
nmayhew
super cool man the Russians make some beautiful aircraft - this may well have to be my first properly modern jet build one day - is there a decent kit in 1/32? also interesting the massively different approaches to health and safety when compared to Europe - in the UK we would have been in the next county and so far away you could barely hear the thing on the ground, let alone get rolled by the jet wash! talking of which, isn't that air 'really toasty'? would those guys get a bit cooked? Gerhard
The Trumpeter one is not bad if you are not a rivet counter. I also plan on building it, someday. nmayhew
Out2gtcha
The Trumpy SU is a great kit IMHO. it might need a few AM parts, but overall, I liked it a lot, and the fit was very decent. LSP_K2 and nmayhew 1
AlanG
I've been bounced down the taxiway by a Tornado GR1. We used to play little jokes on some pilots and in return they 'got you back' whenever you walked behind them when they taxied off. Hurt a bit but funny all the same. Health & Safety would have a fit these days. nmayhew
