Pete Fleischmann
Got the transparencies unmasked. phew. I was really worried about overspray getting in behind the transparencies from those big open cabin doors and gunners windows- I plugged them with foam...but you never know. about to start the dust application- and the Crew Chief got his head back- cheers, Pete Landrotten Highlander, A-10LOADER, Madmax and 22 others 24

Hawkwrench
Cool. I love his decals. The guy who draws them up and makes them is the best in my book. I'm using Wernerswings Irene decals for my build I'm doing. Tim Tim Pete Fleischmann

Pete Fleischmann
Thanks all for the encouraging words! I started the dust application on the belly- so far it’s MiG pigment mixed with Life Color remover, and a wash of AK Dust. From photos, it does tend to wrap up the sides of the fuselage- there are also a few spots on the upper surfaces where it collects. The rotor wash, etc leads to some interesting patterns. The rain marks on the nose are Life Color dried salt- had to take a few cues from my armor building buddies for this part- cheers Pete Edited November 21, 2020 by Pete Fleischmann Brett M, LSP_Kevin, Starfighter and 15 others
