chuck540z3
Modeling eye candy at it's finest! So good, and about $600.00 of Archer rivets! John1
Makes a big difference vrs those crappy divots that KH seems addicted to. How are those rivets once they set up? Pretty durable?
D.B. Andrus
Pete, your work is totally....riveting. Cheers, Damian Basta and Pete Fleischmann
scvrobeson
I'm pretty sure building a real Pavehawk would take less effort at this point. Matt Derek B and Pete Fleischmann 1
John1
I’ve had a pipe dream of building a standard lift Hawk from OIF but now in the back of my head, I’ll always be thinking - it just doesn’t measure up to this build. Way to go Pete. Pete Fleischmann and scvrobeson 1
Hawkwrench
This DEFINITELY has raised the bar on helicopter detailing! I'd love to do this one day. You need to list every size of Archer rivets you're using for all of us to use as reference. scvrobeson and Pete Fleischmann 1

Pretty durable? so far, yes- pretty durable. what seems to be working well: trim the decal very tight avoid long continuous runs maybe a touch of Micro Sol if I need the straight decal to bend or turn once dry, come back with a lot of Solvaset. cheers Pete John1

Cheers, Chuck thanks Chuck- funny.. the only model I’ve ever saved receipts for is my big AT-38 that is still in progress. I have a Manila envelop full of receipts for that beast! I’m sure it’s got to be several thousand dollars by now- thankfully most of these rivets are from the custom sheet that Woody made for me, but I do have a bunch of his other sets that are for odd sizes, circles, etc- cheers Pete chuck540z3 and scvrobeson
Hawkwrench
Wonder if we can convince Woody to release a H-60 rivet sheet??? Tim John1
Starfighter
Absolutely brilliant, Pete! It seems the naval versions are available as well, but the price tag hurts. Especially taken into account all the work necessary to get correct surface detail... Keep up the great work!
jenshb
Persistence pays off, and those rivets will look great under a coat of paint. Are you applying them to the bare plastic, or have you applied a clear coat for the decals to grab on to?

The solvaset is locking them down very well, and dissolving virtually all of the clear carrier. Very pleased. Cheers Pete chuck540z3
