Marcel111 Posted October 20, 2019 Share Posted October 20, 2019 Hello Danny, The pods are significantly longer than Aim-9's, not sure of the exact length but check some pics, eg. of the NSAWC F-16's, you can see how much more they extend to the rear of the wingtip. They are are the same diameter as an Aim-9, so you can use 4mm styrene rod as a start, the rest of the scratch building should be easy. I used Evergreen plastic tubing and rod, creating the leading edge taper by sanding at an angle while rotating the section.
